New Delay Feature - More Response
Support

If you use the save-and-forget feature to save your messages so they are automatically sent every day our system now allocates a "Delay".

This delay is the number of days the system will wait before sending your message to a new prospect after the day they join.

How was it before implementation of this feature?
Previously, all our automated messages are normally sent every morning at 7 am central time. When we initially implemented the set-and-forget feature, we overlooked one very important factor - the additive effect of numerous GOLD members all using the save-and-forget feature.

The result is that the morning after a new member joins Prospect Response, they were bombarded with hundreds (or thousands) of emails all sent together! Needless to say, they emails were never read, and a lot of new members would cancel their membership to save themselves from drowing from all the email.

How it's working now
As you save your message, our system calculates and allocates a "delay" from 0 to 14 days. In addition, all automated emails will now be sent in "portions", instead of just one time at 7 am. The messages will now be staggered 4 times a day (mainly during the day).

Result?
We hope that this will reduce the chance that someone could end up with a burst of emails (say 50) at any time. The automated messages that a new member would normally have received in a single day will now be staggered over 14 days. Hopefully, this will boost response to your messages and save some people the agony of having their mailbox bursting full of ads!

Can I change the delay?
No. The only other choice is to send your messages manually.

What about messages saved before implementation of this feature?
They have already been allocated a delay by the system. No input is required on your end.

We'll continue monitoring this feature closely and change what we need to change to make our services better.

In the meantime, please let us know your thoughts!
